“We recently completed our major home renovation with construct Melbourne and found it an all round fantastic experience. We restored our original 1920’s California bungalow retaining the original features at the front of the house and extended out the back with a modern 2 storey extension.

When we engaged with Rhyse, we had already had our renovation designed. From the very beginning Rhyse was very honest, upfront and easy to deal with. He was very professional, punctual and super organised. He always responded quickly and within agreed timeliness. Throughout the quoting process Rhyse was helpful and knowledgeable on various products and suppliers. These were the main reasons we chose construct melbourne over the 3 other builders we had also engaged with.
We were extremely lucky that we could have all of the finishes originally chosen for our build due to the organisation of Construct Melbourne. We were building in covid when there was delays on supplies and builds however we never had any issues as everything was ordered well in advance allowing for these delays.
During the build process we were so happy with the service provided by site supervisor Steve and the carpenters. They were always friendly, polite and helpful with anything we needed. Even multiple neighbours in our street commented on how friendly and respectful our builders were (there has been a lot of construction in our street recently).
Now that we have moved back into our home we absolutely love it! We have had some minor issues as with any new build, and Steve has always been super helpful sorting them out straight away. The follow up to make sure that we are happy and everything in our house is ok has been great.”

The build was substantially quicker than we anticipated which seemed due to how well they had all their trades lined up. There were no long periods of inactivity like we'd seen on so many other residential construction sites. The site always seemed to be busy and organised. There was no sacrifice in quality for the sake of speed. We were able to move in and enjoy our new house, and its fantastic build quality, sooner than expected and saved a bit in rent in the process."
